Little Star Higher Secondary School Dimapur Nagaland

Freshers’ Day-2009    Sunday, 5 July 2009

On 23rd June ’09, the school celebrated Freshers’ Day to welcome those fifty six budding twigs who have joined ‘Little Star Family’ this year to pursue their higher study. The programme was chaired by Lamnei Hansing of class XII. The whole programme was organized by the students of classes X & XII who toiled hard to make the programme a grand success. It was a simple programme with attractive dance performances by the students of classes VIII, IX & X.
 
Among those 56 novices, Miss Florina Naben was selected as Miss Fresher for her quick response to those questions which were asked by the panel of judges.
 

While addressing those newcomers, Mr Prakash Paira, the Administrator of the School, advised the students to work hard to achieve success in their lives. He also put more stress on character building as it is the crown and glory of life. In his short speech, the Administrator urged the students to keep moving forward to cope up with the changing situation of this competitive world.
